Yet, times have changed. Now, these sales start as early as November 1st and often extend through "Cyber Monday," the Monday after Thanksgiving. Black Friday for 2023 will be observed on Friday November 24th through the weekend to Monday November 27th.

You’ll find hefty discounts on Black Friday for Instant Pot pressure cookers, bringing the price between $60-150, depending on the model you’re looking at. How to choose the best Instant Pot for you?
The first thing to realize is that Instant Pot is a brand name popularized by a multi-purpose appliance, the main purpose of which is a pressure cooker. Outside of the brand Instant Pot, you’ll find comparable products called “pressure cooker combo” or “pressure cooker X-in-1.” The main points you’ll want to look out for are size (6 quarts is usually sufficient for most households and individual use), features (pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, and saute are my bottom line must-haves), and the type of lid and locking mechanism (I’m a big of fan of the easy locking lid that twists in and out). Stick to the following questions to make the best choice. What do I plan on cooking? How many people am I typically cooking for? How much space do I have? This should be a good primer to help narrow your search down. For instance, a 3 quart Instant Pot might not cut it if you’re regularly cooking for 6 or more people.
