- No king-size mattress gap at the top of the mattress. It’s common for king size mattresses to leave a large gap at the very top of the mattress, where pillows tend to fall through the crack. Small wedge pillows are marketed to solve this problem. I love that the Nectar sits flush with my headboard, so my pillows stay where they need to.

From there, I put it on my bedframe and watched as it expanded to fit the frame. It continued to expand over the course of the next couple of days, but I was able to sleep on it on night one without a problem.

You can! I certainly did. The mattress will take up to 72 hours to fully expand, but the brand says on its site that it’s fine to sleep on it before that.
