Jessamyn Ansary

Jessamyn Ansary is a writer, producer and filmmaker with 15+ years of experience in documentary film and unscripted TV. Her feature music documentary, Lee Fields: Faithful Man, premiered at DOC NYC in 2022, and is currently on an international festival tour. Also in 2022, she co-produced The Jewel Thief, a feature true crime documentary for Hulu. Other recent projects include casting the leads on the 2023 HBO Max series Swiping America, and producing a series of short, branded documentaries for eBay. Jessamyn was part of the producing team on the Emmy-nominated healthcare documentary, Escape Fire, and during her career, Jessamyn has written, produced, and cast talent for networks like National Geographic, Travel Channel, HBO Documentary Films, Oxygen, Food Network, and many others. Jessamyn is currently a scriptwriter for Jupiter Entertainment, where she writes for multiple true crime shows including Snapped, Killer Couples, and Sins of the City.
