Title: A New York Minute

Nothing beats commuting around the city to your favorite soundtrack. In this piece, the center clip symbolizes the journey, while the background consists of things you may discover along the way in the concrete jungle. All video was filmed in New York City from 2019-2022.

Bio:

Mike Szpot aka illkoncept is a NYC-based artist who specializes in documentary, street, and urban photography. Mike is a storyteller whose work evocatively sheds light on beauty in the mundane and fleeting moments often overlooked by others. Routinely walking miles on end combing the streets, ill captures scenes resembling a surrealistic movie. A sense of nostalgia also emanates from his art influenced by an older, grittier New York.
