Disney’s live-action adaptation of [_Beauty and the Beast_](http://time.com/4689999/beauty-and-the-beast-review/), which hits theaters March 17, is largely faithful to the beloved 1991 animated film: A snobby prince ([Dan Stevens](http://time.com/3732813/dan-stevens-emma-watson-beauty-and-the-beast/)) is cursed by an enchantress and turned into a hideous beast until he can learn to love and be loved in return.
