The Coca-Cola Company announced Thursday that labels on cans and bottles will soon have song lyrics on them.
Beginning April 18, drinkers of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Coca-Cola Life will see lyrics from the following tracks plastered all over their beverages:
“The Way You Love Me”
“You Belong With Me”
“All I Do is Win”
“We Are The Champions”
“Lean On Me”
“It’s Getting Hot in Herre”
“We Never Go Out Of Style”
“I’m Your Biggest Fan”
“I’m Proud To Be An American”
“Sweet Land Of Liberty”
The new marketing campaign was announced in the same week that industry data reveals annual per capita consumption of soda in the U.S. fell to a 30-year low in 2015, with sales dropping for the 11th straight year.
