Twix Spread Now Exists

1 minute read

The U.K. division of the chocolate maker Mars recently started selling a Twix spread, arguably as a more discrete, socially-acceptable way to eat the candy bars for breakfast — or in a sandwich for lunch. Or anytime, really.

A news release describes the £2 ($2.90) item now in Asda supermarkets as a “delicious chocolate and caramel spread with crunchy biscuit pieces” that can be “spread over warm toast or a crumpet, dunked with a breadstick, or topped on a cake or waffle.”

In recent years, Hershey’s has also released a line of spreads inspired by its chocolate bars and Reese’s peanut butter cups.
