On Monday night, late-night TV show hosts paid tribute to British rock star David Bowie, who died from cancer Sunday, two days after his 69th birthday.
Jimmy Fallon kicked off his show by taking a moment to remember the “mad genius,” and said he couldn’t think of anything funny to say, the news was so sad. Conan O’Brien replayed past interviews with the singer, a frequent guest on his show whom he called “an incredibly nice person.” And Jon Batiste and his band Stay Human, along with the musical group El Vy, capped off The Late Show with a performance of “Let’s Dance.”
