A couple from Chattanooga, Tenn., has been accused of stealing 57 blocks of cheese from a Walmart.
WRCB TV reports that police say Joshua and Erika Caldwell, both 21, face theft and drug charges, after authorities found marijuana in their car and several other stolen goods from the Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., store, like laundry detergent and clothes. It’s unclear why the couple wanted so much cheese, almost $300 worth, which officers found stuffed beneath the floorboards of the vehicle, the news station reports.
The two were taken to Catoosa County Jail and were “bonded out,” WRCB TV said via police.
