Nayler is the author of the Locus Award winning speculative fiction novel The Mountain in the Sea, published in 2022 by MCD x FSG, and The Tusks of Extinction, upcoming in January of 2024 from Tordotcom. He is currently a visiting scholar at the George Washington University's Institute of International Science and Technology Policy
