John Bradley Has a Surprising Favorite Co-Star on Game of Thrones

While it seems safe to assume that Samwell Tarly’s favorite people in Westeros are the two he brought along with him to the Citadel — Gilly and little Sam — the actor who plays Castle Black’s new maester, John Bradley, has a different take on the matter.

During an AMA on Reddit Tuesday, Bradley explained that the person he has been most excited to work with in the Game of Thrones world is Stannis Baratheon. “I got to do one scene with Stephen Dillane (who played Stannis) who isn’t just one of my favorite[s] on the shows, he’s just one of my favorite actors period,” he wrote. “That day was a privilege and an education.”

The actor also spoke about how much the entire cast gets along on and off set. “I think that we’ve spoiled each other when it comes to establishing close personal relationship[s] as well as working ones,” Bradley wrote. “We think we’re gonna get on with everybody in our careers as much as we get on with each other. I think we all know how lucky we are.”

Oh, and he revealed that Kit Harington is even better looking than Jon Snow: “He’s more attractive in real life. If you’ve ever smelled him you’ll know what I mean.”
