It’s an old trope in romance stories, dinner with the parents, and _Game of Thrones_ did it justice — at least according to the show’s fans, who were raving about Gilly’s makeover for the occasion almost as much as they were dissecting the return of a certain [long-gone](http://time.com/4351601/game-of-thrones-benjen-stark/?xid=homepage "undefined") character.
