On Friday morning, lunchtime was hit with a serious setback: a tractor-trailer carrying deli meats on a New Jersey highway crashed into a truck carrying bread.
The “sandwich-like spill” caused backups across several exits just before 6:00 a.m. EST, NBC New York reports. All but one lane was closed, and aerial footage shows meat and bread strewn all over, with one of the trucks open to the elements.
Luckily, no injuries were reported in the incident. But sandwich-lovers must surely be mourning the lost ingredients.
