Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin has revealed some very interesting things about the band’s upcoming album “A Head Full of Dreams.”
The Dec. 4 album is set to feature guest vocals from Blue Ivy Carter, her queen mum Beyoncé and Martin’s ex Gwyneth Paltrow. “Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives,” Martin told the Wall Street Journal.
Martin is well aware that stepping into the spotlight draws a load of gossip along with it, but he seems to be open to acknowledging the situation. When asked if “consciously uncouple“—the phrase Paltrow used on her website to describe the couple’s separation—would be a good song lyric he responded: “I don’t know. I didn’t invent that phrase, but I love it. Everything’s a good lyric if you have the right beat.”
