
Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Daisy Ridley? Tucked within the flurry of names announced as part of the Star Wars: Episode VII cast is Ridley, a young British actress and the sole woman to join the iconic franchise in a galaxy far, far away.
Her previous roles have been restricted mostly to British television, with only one previous movie, Inbetweeners II, listed on her agent’s website. The site also lists her as a mezzo-soprano, citing that she is highly skilled in jazz dancing and singing, as well as tap dancing.
Ridley’s 2013 showreel with her acting clips were taken down, but you can view a 2010 clip that’s reportedly of her singing below:
