After [Cynthia Nixon](http://time.com/5207658/gov-andrew-cuomo-ally-christine-quinn-calls-cynthia-nixon-an-unqualified-lesbian-ny-governor/)—a.k.a. everyone’s favorite cynic, Miranda Hobbes—announced her bid to [run for governor of New York](http://time.com/5205954/cynthia-nixon-governor-reactions/) on Monday, [Kristin Davis](http://time.com/5209327/kristin-davis-endorses-cynthia-nixon-for-governor/) showed her support for her longtime co-star by immediately endorsing Nixon on social media. Not to mention that she has already [donated to Nixon’s campaign](https://twitter.com/KristinDavis/status/976596040110424064). Now, Kim Cattrall has also taken to Twitter to give her blessing—well, sort of. After being asked what she thinks of Nixon’s foray into the world of politics, the one and only Samantha Jones offered a somewhat ambiguous response. “I support & respect any former colleague’s right to make their own career choices,” she wrote on Thursday. Cattrall’s cryptic reply comes just weeks after an apparent [public falling out](http://time.com/5143228/sarah-jessica-parker-kim-cattrall/) with Sarah Jessica Parker following the death of the former’s brother. Parker has yet to weigh in on Nixon’s campaign. That's a pretty personal, you know, critisism from. Why you didn't support her? And why she thinks you're unqualified now? My being a **** or her being a ****, I think, has nothing to do with why we're running for office. What about the qualification aspect, as she's saying you're not qualified? I think that everybody under Understands the corruption in Albany has been really bad for decades now. And I think under the Cuomo administration he's brought it to a new high or a new low, however you wanna think about that. And I think it's time for an outsider.
