Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s executive vice president of cloud and enterprise, has just been named the company’s next CEO. He’s already trying to rally his troops with a letter sent to all Microsoft employees today. In the letter, Nadella outlined his vision of helping the diminished tech company thrive in a world focused on mobile and cloud computing.

“Our industry does not respect tradition — it only respects innovation,” Nadella wrote. “Make no mistake, we are headed for greater places — as technology evolves and we evolve with and ahead of it.”
