Jeb Bush is calling in the big guns to boost his support before the crucial South Carolina Republican primary on Saturday, and that means tapping his big brother George W. Bush for campaign help.
The brothers appeared together on the trail and in a campaign video released on Wednesday, in which 43 threw his support behind would-be 45, calling his brother “someone who can fix the problems that cause our anger and frustration.”
Jeb then took the stage, touting his experience as the governor of Florida and saying, “If you want someone with a proven record, a solid conservative who acted on his conservative beliefs each and every day as governor … then you’re looking at the nominee.”
At the end of the video, the duo performs a chest bump backstage, and Jeb can be heard saying, “Thanks, I love you.”
