It’s a lot of pressure for a young kid to hold a newborn sibling for the first time. Five-year-old Hunter Ingersoll was doing a great job cradling his new brother, Wyatt, until things took a dramatic turn. (Don’t worry, everyone was fine.)
This concise, 7-second video was uploaded to YouTube back in July, but is making the rounds again now thanks to a recent TODAY show segment.
“It was his first time being around a new baby and he was really nervous. Plus, everyone was looking at him,” the kids’ dad, Jason Ingersoll told TODAY.com. “He seemed ready to hold Wyatt, but he clearly wasn’t.”
Since that initial meeting, Hunter and Wyatt have been getting along much better.
“He’s really embraced big brotherhood,” Ingersoll said. “The two of them can’t get enough of each other. It’s pretty adorable.”
