Still reeling two days after the terrorist attacks that killed 129 in the City of Lights, Parisians took to the streets to honor their fallen neighbors on Sunday.
While some brought flowers, candles and other objects to the scenes where people were gunned down, others played music or kept silent vigil.
While these civilians focused on healing their communities, government and police forces were engaged in a manhunt for a potential eighth suspect in the attack. While one attacker has been identified as a Frenchman who lived in Chartres, officials are still working to confirm the identities of the other assailants.
