Typhoon Koppu left 11 people dead when it hit the Philippines on Sunday. Some 65,000 residents were displaced, and armed forces were sent to villages to rescue those who were trapped, the Associated Press reported. One day later, villagers returned to find their homes flooded and their roads turned into rivers.
