This year’s graduating class at Kahuku High School in Hawaii decided to spice things up at their commencement ceremony by performing a nearly 10-minute long dance routine to a medley of pop and hip hop songs. Oh, and they learned the entire thing in just two days.
The grads sing and dance to tunes like “Shake It Off” and “Wrecking Ball,” along with more old-school selections like “I Want You Back” by Jackson 5.
At the end of the routine, the students perform the “Kaipahua Kura,” which is their school’s haka — a traditional war dance from the Maori people of New Zealand.
