Meet the Louisville Leopard Percussionists, a talented group of musicians, all between the ages of 7 and 12. Watch here as they offer their take on three Led Zeppelin classics: “Kashmir,” “The Ocean” and “Immigrant Song.”
This video was published back in November, but it’s getting renewed attention now thanks to Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, who posted it on his Facebook page Friday. “Too good not to share,” the legendary rocker wrote to his 1.6 million fans.
You’ll notice a variety of percussion instruments in the video because the group requires students to learn several instruments, including marimbas, bongos and congas. If they’re good enough for Jimmy Page, they’re good enough for us.
