We’ve seen plenty of parodies of Sia’s brilliantly choreographed “Chandelier” video (see: Jimmy Kimmel’s take and Jim Carrey and Kate McKinnon’s version from SNL), but we’re pretty sure we’ve got a new favorite.
Notre Dame student Henry Long took the dramatic dance — originally performed by 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler — and really made it his own. He prances all over campus in a tutu, leotard and wig, showing up on the quad and in various campus buildings. He totally commits to his craft — and everyone reacts with a mix of delight and amusement and, most of all, sheer confusion.
Long doesn’t quite nail the moves quite like Ziegler, but we really admire his commitment. For comparison’s sake, here’s the original video:
