The third season of FX’s The Americans is out with a new extended promo ahead of its Jan. 28 return, and it looks like the lives of spies Philip and Elizabeth Jennings got a bit more complex.
The minute-long teaser, which was obtained by Yahoo! TV and will air after the Sons of Anarchy finale Tuesday night, shows the characters after the death of Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev in 1982. The event will shape the way spies work both in and outside the U.S. as the couple wrangles with the burden of how their secret is affecting their daughter, Paige.
