The Los Angeles Angels beat the Oakland Athletics 2-1 Tuesday night, but that wasn’t the best part of the game. When the score was tied 1-1 in the eighth inning, Yoenis Cespedes of the Athletics made an amazing throw from left field that got the Angels’ second baseman Howie Kendrick out at home plate. And that’s even after the ball hit by Mike Trout bounced off Cespedes’s glove. Angels manager Mike Scioscia protested it, but the call held up after a review.
