When OpenAI unleashed ChatGPT on the world in November, it radically changed the AI landscape. The company hopes DALL-E 3—the new and vastly improved version of its AI image generator—will have the same impact. Previous image generators, says OpenAI’s Aditya Ramesh, the inventor of DALL-E 3, require learning a new technical language, including appending strings with minuses and numbers, to get the best results.
