Doblin is the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit research organization the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), founded in 1986 with the goal of researching psychedelics and marijuana for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other psychiatric conditions.
