Edie Windsor

Edie Windsor was a gay rights activist who died in 2017. In 2013, Windsor's Supreme Court victory in United States v. Windsor granted her the untaxed estate of her widowed spouse — a landmark decision toward same-sex marriage laws. Her posthumous memoir A Wild and Precious Life is co-written by Joshua Lyon.
