David Michaels, PhD, MPH is a professor at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University. He was assistant secretary of labor for OSHA from 2009 to 2017, and is the author of The Triumph of Doubt: Dark Money and the Science of Deception (Oxford University Press, 2020).
