Brian Paddick

Brian Paddick worked for London's Metropolitan Police from 1976 to 2007 and acted as police spokesman following the terrorist attacks on the city in 2005. He then stood as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Mayor of London in 2008 and in 2012. In 2015, Paddick was appointed as the Liberal Democrat's Home Affairs Spokesperson in the House of Lords and in October 2016 he was made the party's Shadow Home Secretary under Tim Farron.
