Brian Keith, Dead at 75

MALIBU, California: Died: Brian Keith, TV sitcom’s single parent of the 1960’s, of an apparent suicide in his Malibu home. Keith was known to a generation of children as the bachelor raising Buffy, Cissy and Jody with the help of their English butler Mr. French in the TV series “Family Affair.” He later played Judge Milton G. Hardcastle in “Hardcastle & McCormick” from 1983 to 1986.
