In spite of TV, the radio industry never felt healthier. The four major networks (CBS, ABC, NBC, Mutual) got together this week and compared notes. Their cheery conclusions: 105,300,000 radio sets are in use in the U.S., an increase of 9,300,000 over last year; 900,000 households got radios in 1951 for the first time.
