TIME
A century ago, P. T. Barnum produced The Drunkard to show the tragic effects of drink. In 1933 The Drunkard was revived in Los Angeles to show the comic effects of time. Last week the Los Angeles revival went into its seventh year,* breaking all known theatrical records for a continuous (seven-days-a-week) run.
*The original production ran 144 performances.
