To settle an ancient argument between farmers with poultry and fine gentlemen with horses and hounds, Virginia’s Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries last week set aside $500 and made an announcement : The next 500 foxes killed in Virginia will be sent to the Commission, their stomachs examined, the question settled, once & for all, of just what a fox does eat.
