A nameless couple (well played by Nathalie Baye and Sergei Lopez) meet through the sexual want-ads, repair to an anonymous hotel to enact an erotic fantasy we never see and they never talk about, then fall into genuine love. The consequences are wry, wistful, impermanent. But this wee, discreet little movie has a certain rueful intelligence about the ways we rather carelessly talk ourselves into love–and out of it as well.
