Kids find the toys offered by fast-food restaurants irresistible. But the Consumer Product Safety Commission has found many to be hazardous. A few of the recently recalled toys:
HOURGLASS SPACE SPROUT Burger King The hourglass can be opened, and the candy-like plastic balls are easy to swallow
TANGLED TREEPLES KFC The container can suction onto a child’s mouth or be lodged in the throat
SCOOTER BUG McDonald’s The antenna on this bug, recalled in March, easily snaps off and can be swallowed
POKEMON BALL Burger King 25 million of these were recalled in 1999. The ball can fit over a child’s mouth
