In San Francisco last week, balding, Massachusetts-born William Z. Foster, boss of U.S. Communists, gave his prescription for world peace—as of August 1946, of course. Cried he:

#182; Get the U.S. out of China.

#182; Get the British out of Palestine and Indonesia.

#182; Get the French out of Indo-China.

#182; Give Russia a free hand in Turkey and the Dardanelles.

#182; Stop anti-Russian tough talk.

Until Moscow says different, that’s it.
