Al Gore Had a Hand in This
A spiffy Peter Max rendition of the White House, a Camelot-ish photo of the President on horseback, recorded meows from Socks — these offerings and more are available at the White House’s strenuously friendly new Internet site ( https://www.whitehouse.gov ) Users can also “tour” the mansion (except the family quarters) and download cartoons poking fun at Al Gore. More in the familiar style of the federal government are the retrievable studies and press releases from the likes of the EPA and the Small Business Administration. White House officials stress that the site was designed by non-taxpayer-funded interns.
