You Won’t Even Recognize Katy Perry in This “Birthday” Video Teaser

In a new teaser for the upcoming video for Katy Perry’s “Birthday,” the singer dresses up as a series of entertainers and becomes completely unrecognizable.

In the clip, aptly titled “The World’s Worst Birthday Party Entertainers,” Perry begins with an elderly burlesque dancer named Goldie who got her name because of her “golden nuggets.” Perry’s other characters include a Jewish MC, a downtrodden clown and a vapid princess.

Perry called this video — which premieres this Thursday — “the most insane one I’ve ever done” and judging from this two-minute teaser, she’s probably right.
