Hiddleswift — Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift’s whirlwind romance — may be over, but reporters are still questioning Hiddleston about it. In a new interview with The Telegraph, he made it clear he’s finished talking about his ex once and for all. When asked if he regretted anything about their extremely public relationship, he became blunt.
“What should I regret, in your mind?” he asked “testily,” according to the publication. He continued: “I would rather not talk about this if that’s alright.”
“Everyone is entitled to a private life,” he said. “I love what I do and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment and in my mind I don’t conflict the two. My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life. And those two things are separate.”
Last month, Hiddleston told GQ that his summer romance with Swift was absolutely “real,” despite speculation it wasn’t. “Taylor is an amazing woman,” he said. “She’s generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time.”
