Chrissy Teigen just hit her fourth consecutive Academy Awards red carpet Sunday night, making her a true Oscars vet. And lucky for us watching at home, she usually brings a memorable moment — plus her show-stopping sense of style never disappoints.
Teigen joined husband John Legend (who is celebrating with the cast of the highly nominated La La Land) on the carpet, and she checked off all the Oscars dressing boxes in white Zuhair Murad gown with intricate gold beading, a floor-length cape, and one of her red carpet must-haves: a very high slit.
“It’s very tight,” she told Ryan Seacrest on the E!’s Live from the Red Carpet. “I don’t know what else to say really.”
And husband John Legend is definitely a fan of the look. “You look like a goddess,” he said.
Her stylist Monica Rose was proud to dress the star throughout awards season, sharing a look back at her style highlight reel on Instagram, including the Marchesa dress Teigen wore at the Golden Globes, the DSquared2 design worn to the SAG Awards and the sexy cutout Roberto Cavalli gown at the Grammys.
Last year, the model hit the Oscars carpet 7 months pregnant, raising the bar for maternity style. Teigen dressed her bump in a maroon floral embroidered Marchesa gown with an open back, which she had to be sewn into minutes before stepping out onto the carpet. This year, Luna helped her get glam.
In 2015 she supported Legend (who won the Oscar for Best Song “Glory” alongside Common), and went all out glam. She selected a powder blue, embellished Zuhair Murad gown with a dangerously high slit and low neckline, teamed with glam Old Hollywood waves and a deep wine lip.
For the 2014 Oscars, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model chose a romantic strapless Monique Lhuillier gown with a high-low hemline and floral print.
And at her first-ever Oscars appearance with then-boyfriend John Legend in 2009, Teigen sported a cleavage-baring peach halter gown.
