Meghan Markle may have subtly referenced her romance with Prince Harry weeks before the couple went public with their relationship — and fans were none the wiser until now.
In a newly unearthed October interview from the Create & Cultivate conference in Atlanta, Georgia, the Suits actress seemed to reference her blossoming romance with the royal in footage obtained by Entertainment Tonight.
When detailing her busy schedule, Markle said, “I flew in last night from London, I’m leaving from here to go back to Toronto because we’re still filming.”
It is unclear whether she was in London visiting Prince Harry, but the star’s accessories may have given her away. The 35-year-old wore the couple’s “his and hers” bracelet — a blue-beaded bangle — at the conference, weeks before fans noticed that both Harry and Markle owned the bracelet.
Weeks after the conference appearance, PEOPLE confirmed that Harry, 32, and Markle had been seeing each other for three months.
A source told PEOPLE that the love birds have been “inseparable” since the start of the new year. The couple vacationed in Norway in early January and were photographed hand-in-hand in London on Feb. 1.
“It just feels very natural for them both,” an insider said. “It feels easy — like they’ve known each other for a long time.”
