Chelsea Clinton spent some quality time with her two-year-old daughter this weekend — at a Muslim solidarity rally in New York City.
The former first daughter, who has criticized President Donald Trump’s administration on social media, attended the “I Am A Muslim Too” rally in Times Square with over 1,000 others. The event was held to show solidarity with Muslims and to protest President Donald Trump’s executive order temporarily barring travel of individuals from seven Muslim-majority countries. (The order has been halted by a federal court.)
“Thank you to all who organized #IAmAMuslimToo today,” Clinton tweeted. “Charlotte’s 1st protest rally.”
“I try really hard to be a good mommy. I think it’s the most important job in the world,” Clinton told People in 2015 about raising her daughter. “I read her the news every morning. She agrees with me on everything right now.”
