Nine years after coupling up and starting a relationship with now-wife Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard is sharing a nostalgic throwback of the lovebirds that will give you all the feels.
The pair, who first got together in 2007 and tied the knot in October 2013, now share daughters Lincoln Shepard, 3, and Delta Bell Shepard, 2, and are constantly defining #RelationshipGoals by gushing about their love for each other and engaging in PDA on the red carpet.
The 42-year-old actor took to Instagram on Sunday to give a shout-out to his love with a throwback photo of the pair, which he captioned, “9 years ago.”
In the shot, a smiling Bell sports early aughts-era overalls and a gray elbow-length T-shirt as she sits on Shepard’s lap.
The dad-of-two, who was dressed in jeans and a black tee, had a slightly more serious expression, which he explained further in the caption.
“And unfortunately that bottom lip isn’t from injections, it’s Skoal,” he continued. “That’s right, I landed @kristenanniebell while in the throes of a nasty dip habit.”
Shepard sweetly concluded, “Thanks for being an optimist, honey.”
After a 2016 filled with its share of celebrity divorces and break-ups, it’s good to see this adorable couple still going so strong after nearly a decade together!
