Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship has gone public quickly — shortly after Kensington Palace confirmed the couple, they were spotted in London together and have since worn matching bracelets. But someone who works closely with Markle isn’t surprised — Anti-Social director Reg Traviss told PEOPLE that the couple “makes sense.”
“She’s a very good actress — very, very professional and really well-trained. She can definitely lead a film – be it in an independent film like I work in or a Hollywood film — there’s no two ways about that,” Traviss said after working with her on the upcoming film. He called her the type of actor who “hits their marks all the time, never fluffs a line and gets a script straight away.”
Traviss thinks Markle’s philanthropic work also makes her a good fit for Prince Harry. “It struck me at the time that she is an actress but her passion is charity, that kind of stuff.” Plus she’s got the right network: “From what I can gather she knows a lot of people in London.”
