Forbes released their 30 Under 30 lists yesterday, and within the gallery of 600 wunderkinds was a hidden gem: a low-down on Kylie Jenner’s financial situation. They revealed that the cosmetics mogul is following in her older sisters’ footsteps all the way to the bank by cashing in a seven-figure revenue in 2016 alone.
“The reality TV star’s Kylie Cosmetics line has gone from strength to strength, with each incarnation of her $29 Lip Kits selling out upon release,” Forbes said of Jenner in their Retail & Ecommerce list. “Jenner also puts her name to an apparel line, alongside model sister Kendall. Per Forbes’ estimates, she’s the second-highest annual earner overall in her family, after half-sister Kim Kardashian.”
Forbes estimated that Kim Kardashian earned $51 million in revenue in 2016, thanks in part to her video game and subscription-based personal app. But it’s unclear where the other sisters rank in comparison to the 19-year-old cosmetics mogul.
