Jennifer Lawrence isn’t here for invasive questions about her sex life.
In an interview with Australian radio show KIIS Summer Fling, co-host Sophie Monk asked Lawrence and her Passengers co-star Chris Pratt: “Your characters have sex on the kitchen table. What’s the most adventurous place you’ve had sex?”
While Pratt quickly responded with his answer (“airplane”), Lawrence seemed uncomfortable. “I don’t really have anything, I like being safe,” Lawrence responded. “That’s what really turns me on, being safe.”
After that question, the interview came to an abrupt end as a public relations rep informed the hosts that the actors had left. Lawrence, who — like most female Hollywood stars — is frequently asked about her dating life, has spoken out against the industry’s obsession with sexualizing young actresses in the past. “It’s a part of the entertainment industry that sells — sex sells,” Lawrence told BBC in 2013. “And for some disgusting reason, young sex sells even more.”
