Amy Adams has a live-in stylist: Her 6-year-old daughter Aviana Olea. And Aviana had some very strong opinions about her mom’s white off-the-shoulder Versace dress worn to Sunday’s Critics’ Choice Awards.
“She liked it, she’s a little concerned about this region,” Adams said on the blue carpet, gesturing at her chest. “So sorry about that, Av. I was saying that American Hustle ruined that for her — she’s like, ‘Oh, mama.’ Seeing the posters on Sunset, she was like, ‘Ugh!’ So she’s now always on, like, cleavage patrol.”
Adams famously had a sexy, plunging wardrobe in the Oscar-nominated film, including that dangerously low-cut silver sequin gown in the 2013 film’s movie posters.
Adams also isn’t scared to make a sartorial statement off-screen. In fact, she’s become more comfortable on red carpets as her career has flourished.
“I think when I was younger, I was so caught up and it felt like there was a lot of judgment — you just got caught up things that weren’t important,” she shared. “As you get older, you just realize how fortunate you are, and it’s a wonderful honor, and you just appreciate it in a different way.”
