Recently, Deadline announced that Amy Schumer is in negotiations to play the title character in the upcoming Sony Pictures film, Barbie. Because no good media announcement goes unpunished, trolls have already — you guessed it — body-shamed her.
“Amy Schumer being cast as Barbie is a self deprecating joke of hers right? It’s her making fun of herself? Wait. It’s not a joke? Wow,” a YouTuber wrote on Twitter.
